We the IEM started working among Deori people in 2016 through Literacy under NEISELwhich is a projects of IEM. We appointed Deep Deori as a Network Facilitator (NF) who mobilized among his own people whether Christians leaders or Deori literature committee leaders. All come together and finalized Alphabets in the presence of linguistic expert, Deori Alphabet chart was printed out through NEISELin 2016 and distributed to all the Deori leaders including Deori Autonomous Council leaders. We also produce some of reading materials in Deori like big book, premier for the beginners class.
